TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Appointments, Cancellations and Rescheduling
All appointments are subject to availability and confirmation by the clinic.
Any request to cancel or reschedule an appointment must be communicated and confirmed no later than forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.
A cancellation fee of $19.95 will be charged for appointments cancelled more than forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
Appointments cancelled within forty-eight (48) hours of the scheduled time, or failure to attend an appointment without notice (no-show), will incur a charge equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the treatment fee.
All cancellation fees are non-refundable and payable regardless of the reason for cancellation. By booking an appointment, you agree to be bound by this cancellation policy.
2. Clinic Access and Accessibility
The clinic premises are located on the second floor and are accessible exclusively via stairs.
There is no wheelchair access, lift, or alternative step-free access available.
By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and accept that access to the clinic requires the use of stairs and confirm that you are physically able to attend the premises safely.
3. Consent to Acupuncture Treatment
By booking and attending an appointment, you acknowledge, understand, and voluntarily consent to receiving acupuncture treatment.
You acknowledge that:
Acupuncture involves the insertion of fine needles into specific points on the body.
While acupuncture is generally considered safe when performed by a qualified practitioner, potential side effects may include local bruising, minor bleeding, temporary pain, discomfort, tingling, soreness, or other transient sensations at or near the treatment site.
Treatment outcomes cannot be guaranteed, and individual responses to treatment may vary.
You confirm that you have disclosed all relevant medical conditions, medications, allergies, and health concerns prior to treatment and agree to inform the practitioner of any changes to your health status.
By proceeding with treatment, you accept all associated risks and release the clinic and practitioner from liability except where required by law.
